CrashReportHQ helps people obtain copies of their official crash, accident, and police reports at no cost. We request reports from the appropriate agency on your behalf, or guide you through requesting one, and deliver your copy by text or email. The service is free to you because participating injury attorneys sponsor it as a joint advertising program.
CrashReportHQ is an advertising and report-retrieval service. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and using this service does not create an attorney-client relationship. We are not an attorney referral service; if you request a free consultation, we connect you with a participating sponsoring attorney for your state. You are never required to speak with or hire any attorney to receive your report. We are not affiliated with any government agency or law enforcement.
Crash reports are generally released only to involved parties and their representatives. By submitting a request you confirm you were involved in the crash (or are an authorized representative of someone who was) and that the information you provide is accurate. We may be unable to retrieve reports that agencies restrict, that are under active investigation, or that do not exist yet – if a report is not yet available, we keep checking and update you.
By submitting a request, you agree that CrashReportHQ and its participating attorneys may contact you by phone, email, or text about locating your free report copy. Consent is not a condition of service. Reply STOP to end texts at any time. Message and data rates may apply.
We work to locate every report quickly, but we cannot guarantee any agency response time or that any particular report exists or will be released. The service is provided “as is”; to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability related to the service is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have that cannot be limited by law.
This site and its content belong to CrashReportHQ. You agree not to misuse the service, submit false requests, or attempt to obtain reports you are not entitled to receive – agencies impose their own penalties for misuse of crash-report data.
If any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
